Brief introduction:
Stevia extract is composed of several natural, heat-stable glycosides. Collectively, the glycosides give stevia 100 to 300 times the sweetness of sucrose. Stevia extract has been used traditionally in the treatment of diabetes(Genuns, 2000).

Application: sugar substitute
Stevia extracts are currently widely used in the food industry as sugar substitutes and sweetners. As sugar substitutes, stevia extract has at least two advantages:

2) Extremely low calorific value
